Who am I?
I'm Daniel, a Romanian marketer living in Copenhagen.
I work at Claimlane, where I spend most of my time somewhere between marketing and building things. That might mean writing content and working on positioning one day, then building an automation, experimenting with AI, or putting together a small internal tool the next.
I've worked in marketing for the past six years across SaaS, e-commerce and a few very different industries, but I've gradually found myself drawn more and more to the technical side of it. I like understanding how things work, finding repetitive problems, and figuring out if I can build something that makes them easier. I also have a CIM Level 6 Specialist Award in AI Marketing.
Outside work, I DJ drum & bass, jazz and electronica, run, hike, swim and cycle, read a lot of fiction and thrillers, and occasionally make YouTube videos about life in Copenhagen.
I moved to Denmark without knowing anyone and built a life here from scratch. That's still one of the things I'm proudest of.
Mostly, I like making things, trying things, and talking about what I learn along the way.

Firstly, I like to DJ! My favorite music is Drum & Bass, but I enjoy my fair share of Jazz, Electronica and all things abstract. Here’s one of my mixes (watch out, don’t play it in public because you’re going to start dancing. Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you!

Secondly, as of late I have a Youtube channel. I created it out of boredom, wanting to try something new and I'd be lying if I didn't think about becoming the new MrBeast!

I also enjoy reading, I have periods when I do it almost everyday and periods when I don’t do it at all. But I certainly love a good book from time to time. Here’s a few of my favorites:

And lastly, before this becomes too long, I enjoy all things sports! I enjoy hiking, running and swimming the most. I feel it keeps my mind & body sharp and wants me to better myself each time!
